First Degree Ceremony - July 08

"Sir Knights" for Council #10876 - April 08

Five members of the Knights of Columbus Council #10876 became Fourth Degree Sir Knights during a spring exemplification ceremony held April 19 and 20 at the Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark, Ohio.  From left are Eric Guerin, Ted Waggoner, Mike Maurer, Dan Bell and Charlie Hohman. 

The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism and to encourage active Catholic citizenship. A Knight is eligible to join the Fourth Degree after one year from the date of his First Degree, providing he has completed the 2nd and 3rd degrees beforehand. A total of 34 Knights from the Ohio District No. 3 Hennepin Province, servicing Columbus and Steubenville Dioceses received the title “Sir Knight.”
